Back from bangkok for 3rd week but have not update anything abt the trip yet..

It's all becos, i'm too lazy to use com and to post it too.

It's been busy month for me.. back from bangkok trip, started learning yoga, and even joined heritage marathon (foot race) wf yap, yap's bf & qian..


Yoga

I have started learning Yoga together with ah bass n shir, and our yoga teacher is my very good frenz, Ade.. she's a pro in yoga now, n seem very passionate abt it too..

Yoga is really tough!! i used to think it simple but ..

I realised how stiff my body is.. and my body will ache not immediately, but will ache badly after one day of every yoga session..

however, it feels good.. especially im working in office, yoga makes me feel alive and healthy..
Though it's tough and at times i feel like giving up (which shows how weak my mind is but yoga can help to build a stronger mind.) but.. it's really a good exercise therefore i shld keep it going..


Band practice

Finally back to band practice after Thailand.. and a change in conductor from Philip to Mr Oura.. quite sad of the change .. but after attending one band prac by Mr Oura.. he seems nice and he's very musical..

i found out that:
when i stop attending practice, spend less time playing flute, i tot i have lose the interest in flute, perhaps shld stop playing..
But whenever i pick it up, start attending practice.. then i realise i still like to play flute a lot than i thought so.. and realli can't bear to see myself if one day i have to quit band due to other commitment..

if only im very talented.. being train in music since young.. i really really dun mind to extend my career as a musician.. however with my current level, will sure lose out to those very pro flutist that i have seem.. perhaps business is a safer way for me, which means i can only play flute as my interest..

Heritage Marathon

i joined heritage marathon, a foot race to heritage attraction.. wf yap, yap's bf n qian..

it's fun and i enjoyed it very much..

i shld hv try harder cos the 1st price was $2000 cash..

but the initial stage, we worked hard but later on, going to wrong places, legs getting tired and sat down my lunch, eventually we gave up..

So next yr, i gonna drag anselm to join with me and yap again, and mus really work hard to aim the 1st prize which is definitely attainable.

Bangkok

went to bangkok with dear, pin & pin's bf..

Bangkok is really a shopping heaven.. being a thai food lover, the food is fantastic..

i wish... holiday never end..

Day 1 1st july

waking up so early to catch the flight is terrible.. being kinda excitied for the trip, i could not sleep, and eventually i ended up having 3 hours of sleep..
look at my eyes.. effect of not having enough sleep:

Started shopping at Siam Paragon for lunch then to MBK for shopping..

i call this shirt 'Tay Ping Hui shirt', dear's bargain for day one at MBK.


pedicure + manicure done at MBK.. for that moment, i felt like a princess, with one person doing my foot and another with my hands.. within 30mins, nails all painted plus both pedicure and manicure.. we like!! speedy service.. but nail polish not good.. however what to expect whereby its just 20 baht = less than $1..
and i lost my ring when i took it off for them to do my nails.. lucky of me to be able to get it back when i got back to MBK on the 3rd day though i realised i lost it after the manicure session, but was not able to find.. was so relieved to find it back after going to the shop again.. it's my, our couple ring..

Day 2 2nd july

went to Pantip plaza to buy IT stuff..

and also Platinum Fashion mall.. bought few tops and shoes..


this waffle is different with whatever waffle we ate in spore.. its very tasty.. with different flavour to chose from.


Tuk tuk is thrilling and they can just cut cross ongoing traffic to another road.. oh ya i forgot to mention abt the taxi we took from airport to hotel.. the speed in expressway goes up to 140km/h.. fast and exciting..

good meal @ nam xing located in Yao warat (chinatown)!! from tom yum, kang kong, shark fin, scallop, pineapple fried rice, sweet and sour pork to bird nest as dessert..

Day 3 3rd july - sightseeing

1st stop -> floating market

As we were on the boat, the breezing wind and breathing in fresher air (as the place is away from urban area), the ride was wonderful..
























not forgetting to mention, the tour guide told us that the old floating market is gone due to nowadays ppl go to supermarket to buy groceries, but they move it to another area which is far frm city, and they retain few stalls on boats as seem on above pictures and a large area with stalls set up besides the river..


2nd stop - Elephant village

pin insisted that she must see elephants for this trip, so we went to the elephant village and took the elephant ride thru jungle.. it's so fun.. and saw lots of elephant's waste too!!

3rd stop - elephant show + crocodile show

4th stop - rose garden - a place where there's a show put up by performers on cultural of thailand which includes thai wedding, boxing, thai dance etc.


After the show, they have crocodile show too.

back to hotel for dinner.. surprisingly, see the pianist behind me..

i could not believe in 2-3 stars hotel with such service.. they invited pianist to play for every night from 7pm onwards.
the atmosphere was perfect with the music played.. not forgetting good food that the restaurant served.. the ice tea is very nice (cos very milky) and so as the green curry, and basil chicken..

Later on, the car picked us up for sexy show (great disappointment cos the girls are not sexy at all.) out of curiosity, i wanted to watch this.. but .. anyway im gonna watch for once and gonna be the last time..

Proceeded to Suan Lum Night Market for late night shopping..
settled at a pizza restaurant for supper..

Thai's orange juice has very different taste, i dun really like it cos it tastes too artificial orange juice even thought it's freshly squeezed..

we sat a taxi which the engine has been modified from Suan Lam to hotel, so u can imagine how fast the driver drove (He's a handsome young man too!! Most Thai guys are cute..) and with a loud swoosh sound across the road.. damn cool.. felt like in a F1 race..

Day 4 4th july - shopping

We went to pratunam market and i got shocked of my life.. tot there will be clothes but they sell garments and auntie clothes etc.. which means 'we didn't do our homework well enough!!'..

Then we decided to go back to Platinum fashion mall.. It's still the best to shop over there..

Went to Khao San Road.. with lots and Caucasian, bohemian stuff..




then went to Yao warat (Chinatown) for last treat of shark fin.. and we ordered glass noodle with prawn too..

no money to buy shark fin or bird nest back to sin so shall take a photos of those delicacies behind us..

Day 5 5th july - Chatuchak Weekend Market (last day!!)

we were all ready for our last day at Bangkok to CHATUCHAK WEEKEND MARKET!!

we tried their road stall food.. Phathai?! cant rmb the name but it tastes good..

i had my 1st coffee ever.. shared with dear his blue mountain coffee.. very nice!! i guess i can drink coffee as long as there's enough milk in there..

very shagged and tired after 6hrs walking plus shopping at chatuchak.. we took train to Platinum to buy more stuff as i didnt manage to see much stuff at chatuchak..

byebye to Bangkok..



and finally that's all about thailand.. and finally im done in posting..

Taiwan, here i come!! my target for the next trip..


The true meaning of working is to work for holiday and money.. not passion.. unless you are lucky to land in a job that is your interest and passion plus no rubbish which ppl will throw to you to do..

Then again, i wish.. i wish.. HOLIDAY NEVER END!!
