i had a concert with Siglap Alumni Band.. The Alumni n graduating members had performed 4 songs for the concert.. i tink its the most unprepared performance i ever performed (i dun refer to main band).. but well it's over.. n i found out tat Alumni Band is hard to coordinate practice time cos everyone busy with their own stuff.. but it's still great getting to perform for my own secondary school.. saw the ex-principal Mr Sapii.. n im starting to miss my sec sch conductor, Mr Samad.. quite sad tat tis yr he's not one of the section competition judge cos it's the only time every year i get to see him.. hope he's doing well..
n of cuz the current conductor Mr Pan.. He did a great job to the band.. i tink the band is good.. all the best to Siglap Concert Band.. where my wonderful memories laid.. I'm proud to be in Siglap Concert Band.. Although the band is not a gold band.. but we worked hard in the past to achieve Silver after 15yrs?? of not getting any medal & of cuz we achieved it..

After reading fida's blog,
"the second last piece they played is "one moment in time"..and we the alumni started singing the tune out loud...its one of our memorable piece we played during those days...its so touching cos memories just started to flash back into my mind...lucky they never play "say yes" cos i think i'll be crying..hahaha..still remember that last concert we have in school with the batch that we had gone thru alot such as cordelia, sok yen, denis all those...we played "say yes" and each of our tears started to roll down our cheeks...i dunno whether those students see or not..cos its during assembly i guess..something to do with music week..i can't help it but to cry while playing the piece..somehow this alumni band bring back alot of memories in me...alot..and i mean really alot..hehe..how i wish to be reunite with those batch again.."
YES!!! i could still rmbed that i cried while playing.. i couldn't even see clearly the scores.. it's the last concert with our beloved seniors.. i still haf the photos with me.. we took 2 photos using my cam..
& not forgetting zahid..we had lost 1 wonderful friend and also a great trombone player...i dun mind to have a performance on every 31st of july as a tribute to him!! Zahid had been a great drum major.. i used to see him at escape theme park cos both of us worked der.. he always bothered to tok to me and even greeted.. accident is cruel especially it's nt his fault n his lives still taken away.. it's saddening..
